    Advert viewability - Beta release

    This month's release contains commercially valuable advert viewability improvements. This exciting development will allow greater control of advert placement within the article page allowing you to increase your ad revenues through enhanced inventory and yield.

    We will be working with contributing clients over the next weeks to test and refine. This feature will then be available for all clients to upgrade. Please contact your account manager if this is of interest.

    Adverts_mobile

    Increase inventory

    • Longer articles load more adverts, both in-line and on the right-hand column
    • Add multiple adverts in-line and to the right hand column
    • Refresh slots after a minimum of 30 seconds
    • Serve adverts and WIDGETS such as Most popular, Newsletter sign-up

    Better view-ability metrics

    • Sticky slots on the right-hand column
    • Lazy loaded - decrease adverts loading off-screen and not being seen
    • In-line slots

    Greater control

    Desktop and mobile 

    Control placement of adverts based on screen size.

    • Desktop configuration for in-line slots - first placement after X paragraphs, repeat after every X paragraphs
    • Mobile allows for a different configuration within the text

    Right hand column

    •  Slots will continue to load if there is space available

    Control or suppress adverts for different content types with Slot Groups

    • Control adverts slots based on Type and Categories - for example, repress in-line adverts on Native content
    • Suppress adverts on marketing or event content
    • Override settings on an article level with 'exclude' categories
